Why we need you

More members, more power.

More members, more power for the people!
When the membership of the union increases, more and more is possible at the negotiating tables.
For you and your colleagues, this can mean: more wage increases, better working conditions. For Bonaire that can mean less power for the Employer. If the union has more members, this also means a stronger position via USIBO in the Central Dialogue.

It is possible that an Employer plays you and your colleagues apart by making different agreements with everyone. If your colleague is a good negotiator and you are not, you would get paid less while doing the same job. When you unite, you form a large group and the power does not lie solely with the Employer.
